Teacher´s biography:

Svetlana brings over 15 years of movement practice to her yoga teaching. A former Candidate Master of Sports in rhythmic gymnastics, she trained at the Novosibirsk Choreographic College in Siberia before developing her own avant-garde movement program for children and teenagers. Her dance background spans classical ballet, rock’n’roll, ballroom, hip-hop, contemporary dance, and professional dance performances.

For six years, Svetlana studied Hatha yoga with various gurus, deepening her understanding of asana, pranayama, and yogic philosophy. In the Algarve, she led yoga classes at Mediart Clinic in Portimão under the brand “Yoga on the Roof” for two years, alongside private sessions for groups and individuals.

Svetlana offers wellness sessions drawing from her diverse movement background. Her sessions emphasize body awareness, breath connection, and cultivating inner balance through mindful practice.
